Lenovo Y50-70 laptop- subwoofer not working

I can't get my subwoofer to work on Ubuntu (20.04.3 LTS).

I just switched to Linux from Windows and I am a total newbie. A quick google search revealed that this is a common problem, but I did not found any solution.

I found out that there is no backward engineered driver. Does someone know if there is a way to get the subwoofer working?
