How do I open an application after I have downloaded its repository from GitHub?

Super noob question, I know. But please bear with me.

I downloaded FreeTube from github with git clone , and it completed successfully. The repository contents were cloned to my Home folder without any problems.

Now, how do I use the application?This is what the folder's contents look like.

Furthermore, how do I add a shortcut to either my desktop or application list?
