How do i get into my server

Ubuntu 20.04

I am new to ubuntu. Made a mistake and did not fully plan my server installation. I installed ubuntu server, LAMP. Everything worked fine.

I needed to install again to put security measures on it. Installed SW again. server would not recognize my password. I tried to install SW again with the same results. I even purchased a new keyboard, same result.

I have tried redirecting files in system with (hd0,gpt1) not exactly sure if I got the info correct in the parentheses.

I have tried to install ‘wipe’, ‘Srm’ which GRUB do not understand.

How do i get into my server.
